Get Out And Support Sara, Lindsay, Shelbie And Dale At Tonight’s All-Star Game

Southwest Soccer All StarsThe 5th Annual Southwest All-Stars game returns on Monday June 15th. Featuring graduating seniors from the 30 plus programs that play in the Ozarks, there will be two games.

6:00 pm – Boys game
8:00 pm – Girls game

Played at the Cooper Soccer Complex, site of the Missouri State Cup, it’s a game that players speak very fondly of as they get a final chance to play with, and against, long time friends and foes. A chance to go out on a high note certainly!

Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for 13 or younger. Download the flyer

Monday Night Soccer/Workouts

Reminder that on Monday nights we will open field/scrimmages from 6:30-8:00. Also, Coach Katz is doing conditioning workouts this summer. Get with Coach Fast or Katz for more details.

Bolivar Falls to Catholic 4-1

Catholic broke a 1-1 tie mid-way thru the second half and then pulled away from the depleted Liberators. Jonna Welch scored the lone goal for the Liberators. Bolivars record falls to 9-3.

The JV girls finished up thier season with a 5-4 loss to Catholic. The jv girls ended up with a 6-3 record.

Liberators Beat Greenwood

Sophomore Jonna Welch scored a pair of goals in each half to help the Liberators defeat Springfield Greenwood by a score of 4-1. The Lady Liberators improve thier record to 9-2 on the season.

Lady Liberators Improve to 7-2

The Liberators took on Pleasant Hope tonight and come away with a 10-0 victory after 40 minutes of play. Several different ladies scored tonight. Bolivar next takes on Logan Rogersville in COC play tomorrow night.

Liberators Defeat Rival Warrensburg

The Lady Liberators came up with another huge victory Monday night against district rival Warrensburg. After a scoreless first half, The Liberators were finally able to get on the board in the 62nd minute when Sarah Magana finished a ball off a throw by her sister Julie Magana. Five minutes later Sarah Magana would put the Liberators up 2-0. Warrensburg made a late rally and made the game 2-1 with a rocket shot from 20 yards out by number ?? in the 77th minute. The Liberators would take back control of the game and finished strong to give them the win. Bolivar varsity improves to 5-2.

In JV, the Liberators knocked off their second undefeated team of the year with a 2-0 victory. Jaqualine Bradshaw and Laura Beth DeShazo scored for Bolivar. Bolivar JV is now 4-2.

Bolivar Defeats Nixa

In a wild barnburner, the Lady Liberators pulled out a huge victory over Class 3 power Nixa. Goals were scored by Jody McFarlen (PK), Hannah Harris, Julie Magana, Jonna Welch, and the game winner in the 75th minute by Sarah Magana. Go to sgfsoccer.com for complete game coverage. Bolivar Beats Log-Rog

The ladies beat Rogersersville tonight by a count of 3-1. Jonna Welch (2) and Daniel Sharp scored for Bolivar.

The jv team beat Rogersville 2-0.

Lady Liberators Beat Marshfield

The ladies scored a pair of goals in each half to beat the Marshfield Bluejays Tuesday night. Jodie McFarlen, Sarah Magana, Olivia Buer, and Jordan Halbrooke all scored for the Liberators who improved their record to 1-1 on the young season.

The JV team beat Marshfield 2-0 with Jenna Roller and Olivia Buer scoring the goals.

All-State Honors/Rankings

Four Liberators were selected for the Missouri All-State Teams:

First Team: Toad Slagle

Second Team: Matt Magana, Bradley Stillwagon, and Dale Baker

The Liberator team was also ranked #10 in the final state poll. That is the highest final ranking since the 1998 season (9th). Complete results can be found on www.mosoccercoach.com
